Treatment for Syphilis
Syphilis is a sexually transmitted infection (STI). If left untreated, syphilis can lead to severe health problems and even death.
In the primary and secondary stages of syphilis, a single injection of penicillin is usually effective. For those with latent syphilis, a longer course of antibiotics is needed. If you are pregnant and have syphilis, it is essential to get treated immediately to prevent passing the infection to your baby.
The A7 Health doctor will do an assessment and recommend an appropriate course of treatment. The doctor will advise if further testing is required.
