Full Medical Check-up
A physical exam is a routine check-up, usually performed by your GP, to check your overall health and give you an opportunity to ask them any health related questions you may have. The exam is also called a wellness check or medical check-up. You do not have to be sick to request an exam.
Do you need a physical exam every year?
Medical opinions vary, but if you are healthy and in your 20s and 30s, it is generally recommended to have a check-up every two years. After 40, and especially over 60, as well as for young children, you should make it an annual habit.
